Teijin Aramid is the global market leader in aramid fibres, known for brands such as Twaron, Technora and Teijinconex. These super-strong and heat-resistant materials are used in protective clothing, cars, aeroplanes and telecom cables, among other things. From its locations in the Netherlands, Japan and other countries, Teijin Aramid delivers innovative solutions that contribute to safety, sustainability and performance.
Challenge
Teijin produces aramid fibres, known under the name Twaron®, in an environment with 60–80% sulphuric acid. These fibres are used in applications such as bulletproof vests, butcher’s gloves, car tyres, fire-resistant clothing and composite materials. Precise control of the tension and positioning of the fibres is essential for a high-quality end product.
Our solution
We supply a complete range of cylinders that support the entire production process, from the supply of raw materials to the precise tensioning and positioning of the fibres. The cylinders have been specially developed to withstand extreme conditions. They hold filling containers firmly in place, ensure the correct tension on the fibres and guarantee that every step in the process is controlled and accurate.
Result
Our cylinders ensure that Teijin’s production process remains stable and controlled, even under extreme conditions. Raw materials remain correctly positioned, fibres remain at the correct tension and the quality of the aramid fibres is consistently guaranteed. In this way, the cylinders contribute directly to an efficient and reliable production process.
