Teijin | Reliable cylinders for aramid yarn production in 80% sulphuric acid

Teijin produces aramid fibres, known under the name Twaron®, in an environment with 60–80% sulphuric acid. These fibres are used in applications such as bulletproof vests, butcher’s gloves, car tyres, fire-resistant clothing and composite materials. Precise control of the tension and positioning of the fibres is essential for a high-quality end product.
